Ever wondered what this is thumbs.db are files which are created in a folder with images or movies so that you can have a thumbnail view of the files.If you edit a lot of stuff on your machine it could be annoying to see them po-up in all your image directories.Getting rid of these is a tad easy
Go to Start>Run and type gpedit.msc and click OK and the group policy editor will open. Go to
User>Configuration>Administrative Template>Windows Components>Windows Explorer.
A rather long list will show up in the right.Double click Turn off caching of thumbnail pictures Enabling this will do your job.
