do u think that ther is a right rligion between the all religion
religion issues
Of course not. There is not one correct religion (speaking of the serious ones), They are all about the same and we should respect that because no religion should be against each other which I think is the case of all of them.
whether you call Him GOD, ALLAH, BUDDHA or whatever, there is only one god. All that is different is the people`s perception of HIM.....
Buddha is not GOD. Buddha is is person, who denies the existence of any GOD.

whatever...i`m not much into religion, but i believe my main point is easy to see....
there could be a right religion.. the shitty part is that we won't know until we die.

How can there be one correct religion? How can you say that one man`s god is another man`s devil? After all god just says this...be good to others, do good, do not kill, do not lie, etc etc etc....so GOD is a universal beeing....the only thing that differs is the people`s conception of HIM....if some believe that god tell`s them to kill others then they are wrong (or to be more precise the church institution) not god...
Actually, all God wants us to do is to believe that Jesus is His son and that He died so our sins could be forgiven. If we accept that as the truth then that is enough - but living sinful lives is how we turn away from God. If we accept that as the truth then we are supposed to be baptised (by CHOICE, this is not the same as Christening at birth) and if we truly believe in God then we will seek to be good witnesses - and this involves being a good example to other people by living 'godly' lives.

i agree with you. but if you read the diffent sacred books the story about them change. i think the right story is the one of the Bible (i have study all religions).

i think that religion is just a man made thing. everyone has different beliefs. these beliefs help ppl get by life. i dont really believe in any religion but i do respect other ppl's beliefs in them.
I guess it all depends on your concept of truth. To me the very nature of truth is that there can be one and only one truth. I believe in God, and Jesus. Although I believe this is the truth I would never look down on anyone for their religion. I may debate with people on different aspects of religion, but killing or belittleing of people because of their religion is wrong. Forcing someone to follow a religion is also wrong. After all its pretty hard to be a true follower of a religion if you are forced into it. I do not consider myself a religious person. Religion says don't do this and don't do that and do this and you will go to heaven/ have a good afterlife/ come back as something better in the next life, whatever. The Christian faith on the other hand (I am not trying to convert anyone or anything, just explaining my personal choice) acknowledes that humans are not perfect, and is more lenient in the fact that even if you screw up big time you are not doomed, and still have a chance as long as you have accepted Jesus as your savior. That is why I personally have accepted the Christian faith as truth. However I believe that everyone has the right to choose their own religion and do not hold that against them. After all it would be a pretty crappy world if we were not allowed to use our free will.
All of the big three we refer to accept mankind as sinful. We have free will, how we use it is our choice. Judaism also doesn't say if you've ever sinned you can't go to heaven. There's a reason there's a "day of repentence" or Yom Kippur. The monotheistic God is merciful. That's the whole point. The 'accept Jesus and go to heaven' card is a nice thought, but it's by no means the only way to be saved if you're not a saint. The big three are way more similar than people give them credit for. Christian adopted the bible for a reason. Islam acknowledges all the other prophets. I mean seriously guys. Judaism is first, and Christianity added its spin. Then came Islam, with a new prophet. Add a book or keep the old one, its not rocket science.

And thats why everything we do is done on faith, wether you believe in God, some old fat guy, science as your god, just peace in general, nihilism; everything is an act of faith, it takes faith to say that there is no god, because you cannot prove it, no matter how hard you try or how close you get, you will never be able to prove the existance or non-existance of any god.
actually raver, not all religions are under one god, some religions beleive that there are many gods, I am personally atheist and take much pleasure in debating religious issues although it's not correct to insult someone because they follow a religion.
HI ALL,
THANKS ALL FOR REPLYING

ACCORDING TO ISLAM,
Allah tells us that He is the only creator and sustainer of all that exists and that nothing and no one exists alongside Him, nor does He have any partners. He tells us that He is not created, nor is He like His creation in anyway. He calls Himself by a number of names and three of them are:
A) The First - (Al-Awal)
B) The Last - (Al Akhir)
C) The Eternal, who is sought after by His creation, while He has no need from them at all. (As-Samad)
He always has existed and He never was created, as He is not like His creation, nor similar to it, in any way.
YOU MAY ASK(How can you believe in God, when you can't see, hear, touch, smell, taste or even imagine what He is?"
I WILL ANSWER YOU:
We know from the teachings of Muhammad, peace be upon him, that no one has ever actually seen God - at least not in this lifetime. Nor are we able to use our senses to make some kind of contact with Him. However, we are encouraged in Islam to use our senses and our common sense to recognize that all of this universe could not possibly come into existence on its own. Something had to design it all and then put it into motion. That is beyond our ability to do, yet it is something that we can understand.
We don't have to see an artist to recognize a painting, correct? So, if we see paintings without seeing artists painting them, in the same way, we can believe that Allah created everything without having to see Him (or touch, or hear, etc.).

YOU MAY ASK("Can God do anything? - Can He make a rock so big that nothing can move it? - If He did make a rock so big that nothing could move it, would that mean that He couldn't move it too? Or would it be impossible for Him to make something so big that He couldn't move it?"
Answer:
Allah tells us that "Allah is capable of doing anything that He Wills to do." He can make a rock (or anything for that matter) that is so large or heavy that nothing in the entire universe can move it. As regards Allah "moving" it, He is not in the universe and He does not resemble His creation. Whenever He wants anything done, He merely says "Qun! Faya Qun!" (Be! And so it will be!)
YOU MAY ASK "Where is God?"
Answer:
Some other religions teach that "God is everywhere." This is actually called "pantheism" and it is the opposite of our believe system in Islam. Allah tells us clearly that there is nothing, anywhere in the universe that resembles Him, nor is He ever in His creation. He tells us in the Quran that He created the universe in six "yawm" (periods of time) and then He "astawah 'ala al Arsh" (rose up, above His Throne). He is there (above His Throne) and will remain there until the End Times
YOU MAY ASK("Why did God create everything?"
Answer:
Allah says in His Quran that He did not create all of this for any foolish purpose. He tells us that He created us for the purpose of worshiping Him, Alone and without any partners.
YOU MAY ASK (""Can you prove there is a God?"
Answer:
Can you prove that you exist? Yes, of course you can. You merely use your senses to determine that you can see, hear, feel, smell, taste and you have emotions as well. All of this is a part of your existence. But this is not how we perceive God in Islam. We can look to the things that He has created and the way that He cares for things and sustains us, to know that there is no doubt of His existence.
Think about this the next time that you are looking up at the moon or the stars on a clear night; could you drop a drinking glass on the sidewalk and expect that it would hit the ground and on impact it would not shatter, but it would divide up into little small drinking glasses, with iced tea in them? Of course not.
And then consider if a tornado came through a junkyard and tore through the old cars; would it leave behind a nice new Mercedes with the engine running and no parts left around? Naturally not.
Can a fast food restaurant operate itself without any people there? That's crazy for anyone to even think about.
After considering all of the above, how could we look to the universe above us through a telescope or observe the molecules in a microscope and then think that all of this came about as a result of a "big bang" or some "accident?"

Allah does not force anyone to submit to Him. He has layed out a clear path and then made it known to them the two ways (Heaven or Hell). The person is always free to make his or her own choice. There is not complusion in the way of "Islam." Whoever choses to worship Allah without partners and is devoted to Him and is obeying His commands as much as possible, has grasped the firm handhold that will never break. Whoever denies God and choses some other way to worship or not to believe at all, for them there is an eternal punishment that is most horrible (Hell).
All religions originated with Allah and then people began to add or take away from the teachings so as to take control over each other. Man made religions are an abomination before the Lord and will never be accepted. He will only accept true submission, obedience and in purity and peace to His commandments.

YOU MAY ASK "How do you know that the Quran is really from God?"
I WILL ANSWER YOU
Muslims have something that offers the most clear proof of all, The Holy Quran. There is no other book like it anywhere on earth. It is absolutely perfect in the Arabic language. It has no mistakes in grammar, meanings or context. The scientific evidences are well known around the entire world, even amongst non-Muslim scholars. Predictions in the Quran have come true; and its teachings are clearly for all people, all places and all times. No one has been able to produce a book like it, nor ten chapters like it, nor even one chapter like it. It was memorized by thousands of people during the lifetime of Muhammad, peace be upon him, and then this memorization was passed down from teacher to student for generation after generation, from mouth to ear and from one nation to another. Today every single Muslim has memorized some part of the Quran in the original Arabic language that it was revealed in over 1,400 years ago, even though most of them are not Arabs. There are over nine million (9,000,000) Muslims living on the earth today who have totally memorized the entire Quran, word for word, and can recite the entire Quran, in Arabic just as Muhammad, peace be upon him, did 14 centuries ago.

I think budhism is the right religeon because it goes well with science and nature. Other religeons neglect logic.
I believe there are as many paths to god as there are people on Earth. how can we say one IS right or wrong? they just ARE.
ironically that means everyone here is right even if their views contradict each other... I love it!!
much love.

I dont think theres a right religion, they can all achieve good followed and used in the right way. mmmmm I started a thread asking if there was any pagans and it got locked after only a few posts, the moderator said there was already a thread asking which religion, that wasnt actually the question was it? I wanted to see if I could get a dialogue going between pagans but obviously the moderators arent keen on that idea, theres always a catch with free sites it seems lol so much for freedom of speech eh.
I also believe that religions are man made things.
I don't believe ina ny religion, nor am I an atheist. I'm in the middle.
I don't believe there is a "GOD". However, i believe the exsistence of religion is good for the general human kind. It promoted people to do good things" to be closer to God".
If I were fourced to choice a religion, i would probably choose protastant Chirstianity. It's one of the only religion that allow one to comprehand the bible individually.
Religion/myth/etc. where made in the very begining where the human kind have very VERY limited knowledge of the world around them. They use God, myth to explain the things that happened. Everyone fears a little of the unknown

The concept of a "right religion" is how so many holy wars originate. I believe their is no right religion, since the religions people tend to stick with is heavily based on the culture in which they were born. In my opinion, live a good life and the God that is out there will reward you somehow.

i dont like religion......., im glad its not a religion 2 be christian, lol
a religion is somthing u have, a christian is what u r, a religion is just a part of ur life, Christianity is your whole life
a religion is somthing u have, a christian is what u r, a religion is just a part of ur life, Christianity is your whole life
I believe that the saddest aspect to religion, especially Christianity, is that the values of which it is bound by are ingrained into kids from age 0 and up. From the day you are born, you question everything around you and are heavily influenced by your parents or gaurdians. Well when these authorities are cramming illogical, unfounded bullshit down your throat your entire life, you have no choice but to believe it. It's how your brain works. It's selfish manipulation.
What's worse is that for a Christian to hear one of the aspects of the Christianity questioned is to have his life questioned, as his life is guided by this religion that's been programmed into him since day 1. Of course he will not be able to open his mind to something outside of his own learned existence, and what he thinks that actually is, which is what he's been taught, which is all unfounded. This isn't the same for every Christian, but for the majority who live in a very conservative, religious community, this is the system and it feeds itself and constantly grows further away from reality and facts.
In this sense, I believe there is no correct religion. They almost all perpetuate themselves so to be governed by an imaginary authority is actually to be a slave. THe worst part is that it is not only your actions that are government by an unseen force that should have no power over your individuality, but also your mind and your subconscious. How can you make the decision to think for yourself when that power is swifty stricken from you? This makes me sad.

drtooty, that is just your opinion. Everyone can have different opinions. And, PLEASE don't try to preach your religion to others, we are not 3 year olds, we don't need you to tell us to to believe.
To you islam might be the "right" religion, but to millions of atheist or people that believe other religions might simply think it's "total bullshit" quoting "a.Bird"
Now, what is a "right" religion? Well, what does "right" really mean? Is there a "right" thing for anything?
not just every society have some guide lines of whats "right" and whats "wrong", every individual living being have a different idea of the rights and wrongs of the society.
A few skwerd example:
we are suppose to throw our trash in the trash can, and not on the ground. By throwing biological garbage on the ground, we are allowing the soil to absorb the nutrition and be more rich to grow stuff.
ok, that was a bad example.
another one:
Studying hard so you can get into a good college might be "right" for you, so you can get a good job and life later on in life. But by doing the very same thing, you are taking away another person's chance to go to that college. So is it still right?
is it right to drive cars when it totally mess up the ozone layer?
is it right to have abortion to kill something CAPABLE of being alive when it might be a threat to the mother life, or while there are millions of kids in the world with no food or shelter that needs to be adopted.
whats the right balance of power between the government and individal rights?
As you can see, there is no just "ONE" right thing. There can be many "right" things, or none at all.

Rainynightstarz, it is hypocritical of you to accuse 'especially Christianity' of brainwashing kids from a young age, when Atheistic parents will do the exact same thing.
Tell me, what happens if/when you have kids? By your level of aggression AGAINST any form of non-Atheistic belief, you'll be doing the exact same thing but on the other side of the fence.
I know more people who have become Christians from Atheist families than people who were born into Christianity. They all see Christianity as the truth and the light it really is.
Tell me... How many people do you think who live in slums, on the street, in broken homes, are involved in gangs and gang wars, really just want to escape from what they percieve as reality? They don't have that light in their lives, all they know is death and suffering. This is what not knowing God does to the world. People are just too thick to realise the truth and to be completely honest that is really starting to get my goat
. I don't want to see anyone go to Hell when they die but I know a lot of people will be going there.
If you want to sit there and call my beliefs a load, then that's your choice. All I have to do to see what happens when God is ignored is go to a local club, watch the people blow their money on alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and pokies. All I have to do is see peoples lives ruined by frivolous sex and the above. You can't turn your head if you leave a drink on the table without worrying about someone spraying a drug into it so they can rape you. Don't try and tell me it doesn't happen that often, because it does. My fiance did a bar course and they were told exactly how often it DOES happen.
This is not simply about believing in Creation or Evolution... This is about realising what happens to you when you choose to ignore God and this is what so many people do. They destroy their lives and wonder why 'life sucks and then you die'. The answer is because they turned their backs on God. This cuts me to the core because I have seen it happen so many times and I am sick of seeing this happen to people.
If you have absolutely ANY shadow of a doubt in your mind as to whether God is real or not then ACT on it. Ask God to reveal Himself and His purpose for you and He WILL. If you have that shadow of a doubt, then read the four Gospels at the start of the New Testament... They will change your life.

Like wiccan and paganism, christianity and islam. I think the biggest religeous population is christianity and islam and they are quite similar and yet.. they are harder to get along with eachother.
I think what we all want though, is peace. Why only concentrate on the afterlife when you forget about your duties on this earth right now? Why all this anger against a group of people you havent met just because of different beliefs?
Shouldnt we try and be accepting?

The fact that any religions were even created are simple, firstly its an easy way to manipulate masses, and second its our way to put everything within our scope of logic capabilities. Its easier to "believe" in someone that has created everything rather than believe that it just appeared from nowhere, thats against logic. I mean there was nothing, and then boom after Planck's time there was this universe, tiny one that just put down the principles of time, matter, physics... Yes there was no time before big bang, even using this word "before" is misleading couse when there was no time there couldn't posibly be before.
Anyway point is, if we cant understand something, couse its hard to comprehend with our logic that doesnt mean its impossible. Hundreds years ago it was impossible to think that earth is a sphere, or that we arent in the middle of universe.
Even now most ppl cant understand how come that space and time is connected, that u can actually alter the behaviour of time by altering space. I just wonder how will ppl 500 years later laugh at us how stupid we were.

People put way to much value on religion, being spiritual is the only way to live
a religion is a way of life, if it isnt then what is it ;o) and if that way of life inclodes you telling other people that they are wrong, without listening to them and their beliefs, then you should question it. If you stop questioning both other peoples and your own beliefs then it becomes nothing. Just superstition.
religions are the drugs for the poor people (Marx)
religions are just ideas of people. Some are good, other are just stupid.
The most important part is the reflect them.

I'm christian, becouse when I was still young, my parents decided I would be christian, so that's just the way it is. If I could choose now, I would not have any religion, I believe anything is explainable by logic.
I also believe all religions are based on love... Simple, pure love. Not a man-wife love, but a love to all people on this world, becouse those who wrote the bible/koran/however you call it wanted there to be peace on the world. I totally agree on that, but now people are fighting about it
- My religion is better the yours
+ No! My religion is!
- Shoots +
- Ahhh!! My god saved me!!! There is a prove my religion is better!!!
How childish is that?! I am a teenager (14) and I find it childish...
In the bible you can read so many contradictions, but they're all a way to show you how to love eachother, how to live.
Becouse all religions I know fight for their religion, I'm atheist. If they could live in peace with eachother AND update the holy book, it would be so much better.

In my opinion, I think all religions are good..it just depends on individual's perception and how they interpret the teachings. I believe all religions want their people to be kind to each other regardless of sex or race.
I think there is one God, and all of the different religions in the world are based on that same god - the only difference is the name that they give to God. God, Allah etc are all the same.
The only religion I think is wrong is Buddhism. I think it has some very good policies and rules, but strictly speaking it is not a religion, because they do not worship a god. Buddah is not a god and they no not worship him so it is not a religion.

Dude, if you're trying to see something very hard, you WILL see it. Stop preaching.
Being the Christian that I am, and knowing that Christians cannot be just submissive and not be proud - there is only one religion, Christianity. However, that does not automatically determine a fate of eternal damnation for everyone else, God has many second, third, fourth, and so on chances.
Such as pergatory and limbo, anyone ever heard of those? I think that truly demonstrates God's mercy as he allows many chances.
I'm not totally close-minded either, I just will not roll on my back and say nothing. Believe what you believe, maybe what one specific person believes is what is true to them, what happens to them, maybe we're all right? Perhaps I should work on a theory about that...
Unfotunately in this area there seems to be a lot of gray. It's not the black and white that too many people are used to seeing.

No religion is wrong - its just the people interpretation of the religions that is wrong.
Anybody have a thought that if aliens were real and if they had a religion, they could be the right ones? Hmmm....
There is no religion better than another - it's all to do with perceptions of God. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc, etc.
I am not a religious person, but I do have faith in a God, or "higher power". I have a "connection"/"relationship" or what-ever you want to call it, I just don't need religion to do so. I don't believe anyone does.
To me, religion is a set of rules developed over time by men. Every now and again a corrupt man would add something to here or there within the religion, and over time the collective mass of this corruption has become huge.
For the most part it's good, ethics/morals/virtue, but alot of it is hear-say.
The Bible is only a small selection of scriptures, (manipulated to only include what the author wanted his ausience to perceive as "the truth").
I don't have a problem with religious people, their opinion has no more or less merit than mine.

Ever seen that episode of The Simpsons where Lisa creates life? What if that's us? What if we're just some preschooler's science experiment? This will get into philosophy very quickly.

I really don't think that you are in the position to tell us what is right and wrong, unless you are a self-proclaimed god or something.
I don't think there is a right religion so to speak, but I believe that all the principles of most Christian religions follow my beliefs close enough to be correct. There are many good truths in life, and key morals that we must follow in order to live a happy life. Most religions make these morals clear and vital to the religion, allowing me, even if I don't agree with their beliefs, to respect them and their beliefs. What pisses me off, though is "scientology" and people who are anti-religion. One word describes them: Ignorant. They refuse to observe the natural beauty around them, or to treat others as equals. They frown on any religion other than their own, which is wrong. People should be free to believe what they want, as long as they respect others for their views as well.
The natural beauty around us has very little to do with any religion, it's not even there just to keep us amused, it has its own agenda and we're part of it. As far as im concerned people can believe what suits them as long as they dont start banging on about what others should and shouldnt do, morals come from mutual respect, not from forcing fear and guilt on people.
Jesus Said" I am the way, the truth and the life" No man comes to the Father but by me. (Jesus)
He also said that He stands at the door, if anyone knocks, He will open that door.
Jesus was so important that His own people (the jewish people) killed Him.
But on the third day He arose from the dead.
And through the belief in Jesus we can share in eternal life.
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.

Atheists thinks that if they die, then they're dead.
If their belief is true, then when Christians die, then their dead too, just like all the other Atheists.
But, if the Christian's belief is true, if Christians die, they'll go to heaven with a smile. But if Atheists die, they'll go to hell.
As simple as that. Being an atheist puts you in a spot of No-Win situation.

Well, the universe was created. NOBODY knows how...because nobody was there when it happened to validate how it was made. Odds are, the origin of the universe will remain a mystery forever. Just be thankful it was...or else we couldn't argue on forums
Religions are made for weak people.
Since you don't accept your purpose in life - death - you
need something to make you feel comfortable with that.
So life doesn't end for you (oh yes highlander),
and some day u will be in heaven with your friends
and family to play hide and seek again...

Because during your life be a religious man
it's not a No-Win situation at all.
On the contrary you spend a lot of energy,
and especially money for something u guess it will
be like heaven. It's like gambling.
Anyway, you lose your money man if your religion isn't true...
So, Yes-Lose situation it sounds more possible to me.[/quote]

Religion is for everyone, it was meant to be, people pushed God away and they have to pay for it. Jesus Christ Himself will be judge after your mortal body dies.
And I agree with the Catch 22 (sort of) that atheists are in.
If an Atheist dies, they believe they just die, but they will go burn in hell.
If a Christian dies, they go to heaven, but if in the off chance there is no God, the Christian person didn't lose anything. The Christian person lived a good life by the teachings of Christ, loving each other.
What's so wrong with living a good life in Christianity? Nothing as far as I can see.
And I have no doubts in my faith.

Truly, it's a small price to pay to smile for eternity than burn y'know. And the fact that Christians are living with quiet lives with peace and loving friends isn't really a loss. I may lose time, energy and money. But I'm sure that I'm secured that after death I won't be dealing with Hell. It's just death (if religion isn't true) and sweet heaven (if my religion is true)
even if in gambling, would you bet where you think you'll lose all your money gaining nothing then be in debt for all your life after? Or bet on where you think you'll lose some of your money now then get lots after?
I don't think religion is made for weak people...but was eventually modified to be used as a control device...but thats another argument. I'm Christian, but I don't do it because I'm afraid of death. If I die, it'd honestly all be easier just to fade to black...no strings attatched. Its something you either buy into or you don't. It helps explain everything that man and science can't explain. Of course it gives you hope...because if there is no hope...then what keeps you from thinking that you're gonna die. A human is the only creature that realizes that it will eventually die. So, instead of religion being something that makes weak people happy, perhaps its more like something that keeps a person's mind off of death and lets them lead a happier life.
I believe in God. If not for God, my life would have been so empty.
Sure, I enjoy my family, my friends, my work. I get to travel to many faraway places. Life is good and pleasant but it's so meaningless. What lay ahead after we leave the world? Surely there's more to it?

Budhism is the right religeon
I am going to convert today because it blends very well with science.
Even the great Albert Einstein said so. It is very very logical and makes sense unlike Christianity Hinduism and Muslimism.
But I also think hinduism is not so bad. It is similar to Budhism in a way. Tina Turner is a Budhist and I don't think she will go to hell and burn so Budhism is the best. I'm sure.
Albert Einstein went to haeven because he hated war and killing.

More to the point - I don't think budhism is a religion.
Isn't it a way of life? And buddah not so much some-one they worship, as they revere? (As a man of great wisdom).
(I don't really know anything about it, so if anything above is incorrect/ignorant in a way that offends anyway, then apologies in advance

All religions are supposed to be way of life. But most religion mix it with God. Buddhism says, God has nothing to do with way of life or morals. We are responsibe for our deeds.

You know - I always got the impression that God - from the Christian standpoint - was a reasonable and forgiving lord.
I mean - any God that would condemn a man to hell purely on the basis that he did not believe in Him - I don't think I would ever want to put my faith in. Think about all the good men that live out charitable, good lives - even lives by every value in the bible (ie abstinance before marraige) - that are Atheists.
I would think it would be enough if once he died, he could see the error in his judgement, and admit to the lord that he had been blinded his whole life.
Also - I am not religious - but I do have faith. Too many people seem to think it's impossible to have faith without religion.
Although I agree with all the holistic values in religion - there has been too much corruption over time. Too many men sneakily altering the word of "the Lord". (I do not like the term God or Lord).
It's only recently that I have come to this stand-point in my personal beliefs - because I had never really "believed".
But you can sense something is there - you know....
To put it in common terminology - pray for something small and insignificant as a sign - anything. Like putting something on your christmas list to see if santa's real.
Although when I was first told to do this, I thought if there was something out there, then it would just be seen as rude to do so, and nothing would happen anyway - it did.
All I did was ask to see a certain person in person at an exact time on a day when I knew I would be home all day. She rang the doorbell at 3:15 exactly to ask if I wanted to come round for a swim, because another friend had cancelled on her.
You could argue co-incidence - but it was good enough for me.
A friend lost her mum, and asked for guidence and help, when she woke up she banged her head on the dresser (has a bookshelf built into it, next to her bed) and a letter he mum had wirtten her when she was 12 fell into her lap... a D&M kind of letter about moving on
I mean, she hadn't seen it in years, and didnt know why it was there even
Like I said - good enough for me.
I don't believe you need religion.
I can't see anything wrong with people living a good life with Christianity...
But:
What's wrong with living a good life without Christianity... Nothing as far as I can see.
(I mean - in the modern world - can you imagine torturing some-one just because they couldn't see the "truth". Not that they didnt try, but because they couldn't? The lord send Atheists to hell would be pure dictator shit... oops fraudian slip, dictatorship.
Why don't we let the church just start burning people on the stake again? Seriously.)
| blackheart wrote: |

I agree!
If there is a GOD, who is friendly with a person, only because He believes in HIM, and aggressive against someone, only because he is unbeliver; Then He will only cause in unmoral life in believers. In this case unbelievers are more moral than believers.
Belivers worship a super-evil powered GOD, because they fear from Him. A worshiper of evil-power cannot be moral.
I think that people shpul have the choice to follow whatever religion they wish. I myself am a christian. I may not believe in budah and what not, but I am not going to stop someone else from believing in it.
I believe religion is just a way for people to explain the unknown. We fear the unknown, its only natural, and people think they need an explanation for how the world came into existance and how its possible. I dont go either way, I refuse to believe that there is a god, or there is not a god, until I know for certain.
"If a person deny evil, there is a power of above within."
"People don't cry over and beg, unless they need to"
"People don't cry over and beg, unless they need to"
I don't believe in one correct RELIGION, but I do believe in one correct God.
