Google's battle with Microsoft will inevitably continue for a long, long time. I think a smart offensive move by Google would be to develop a Linux distrobution. Any thoughts on this from other Linux users?

No good, I think.
If they made a really good distro, it would be wierd using google as an OS.
It could cause people to start thinking of Google and Linux as just another evil empire.
If they made a crummy distro, it would look bad for them.

hmmm... it would be interesting. I feel as though that Google is the greatest thing on earth. With their system of 10% of an employee's time going into side projects that dont involve google, they might be able to pull this off.

This would be fairly intresting, i seen people discussing this on other forums. They would probaly call it glinux or something like that. Would be a great way of promoting linux

Hum. I hadn't heard of this before. O' well, when it comes out I may try installing it. I'm one of the people who loves linux, but uses Windoze out of necessity. (Most of my games don't work on linux, as usual)

Microsoft is gud to start with computers.. but not when you are a professional. Linux defintely cheers you up... As google competiates.. like gmail, google talk, google search.. Its should also start supporting LINUX and make it grand.
