a friend of mine formatted his hp and now doesnt have the drivers for his audio, we found the video drivers on the hp website, we upgraded to sp2 and the only thing we cant get is the audio drivers, he has a pavilion 512a..yes i noe its crap but thats all hes got..any suggestions? or links to where i can get audio drivers. thanks

That seems to have common AC 97 audio. Try the drivers here.

Also, sometimes audio drivers are installed with the modem drivers if the modem is a fax/voice type of device.
