I think it would work a lot better if you put all of the advertisements on "open in new window" because it's a pain in the ass when you click on an add and it opens in the same window...

Allowing users to "Bump" threads to bring them up to the top...

Bump means "Bring Up My Post" and most forums use it to get a topic up 1-3 pages without thinking of something to say...

Sure, you can BUMP a topic for a very good reason, if it's just a bump that is pointless, we don't allow it.

ok... how about a 'chatterbox' forum which isn't modded as much as other forums so that users can get frih$ but NOT points?

Maybe if the frih$ actually increases less than normal forums too? like a limit of 1frih$ per post instead of 2.5frih$
