I am using the latest version of phpwebsite to manage the content of my site.
CaN anyone just tell me how to create a forum using it?

Its easier if you just use phpbb or SMF. Just use Fantastico to install any of the two forums I suggested. Its easier that way. Smile

I am using the content management software called phpwebsite. I even tried to download the BB module but it is not getting installed.

Doesn't PHPWebsite have a built-in forum which you can just activate or enable?

Why are you using phpwebsite. I had tried it but found it too unintutive, without a large community. After a lot of reserch settled on joomla, a very nice cms in my opinion. Give it a try.

What did u do? Not sure about phpws, but in most you have install the cms, then the phpBB and then the bridge to tie them together.

i've used phpwebsite for a while, nothing amazing but it does the job.

you don't need to make a forum (if i remember correctly) its ready made, just make some topics and bam, there they are (you may need to make a block with the blockmaker in which they will be shown)

hmmm, im not fully sure, ahng on ill check.....

nope, i was absolutely wrong, here's how you make a forum:

go to control panel
go to my settings
click set my bulletin board preferences
click add forum (top right corner)

and then fill in the details.

good luck!
