nam_siddharth
Hello friends! I'm Siddharth Kumar Buddhapriy from India. I have joined frihost recently. Actually, I want to create a personal webpage to express myself. I was searching on web for free resoures for it. I got many websites offering free hosting. But all has some limitations. And at last I reached to frihost.com. Untill now, I have seen not any limitation on it, exept it needs me to be active on its forum. I think, it is not very difficult job.
But what does point mean here? How to check my points? I do not know.
Can anybody tell me about it.

You may read the forums for beginners:
How to request for a free web hosting account forum but it wont mind if I give you a little details. on frihost, you gain points for posting good posts, points range from 1 to 2.5 per post. Just click any forum you have info about and help the people there. 5 posts, 10 points and you are ready to request for a hosting account. but remember, as soon as your points start coming down, your risk of the account being deleted also increases. Well, you can view your points with any of your posts.

Hope this helped, checkout the forum I mentioned for a complete detail.

Kind Regards,
Kaisonic
I'll give ya one little piece of advice for making a webpage: NEVER put background music up without an immediate option to turn it off. The last thing a web surfer wants to do is jump out of their chair because their speakers were accidentally turned up all the way and he/she wasn't expecting any music. Plus if someone is listening to music already, he/she doesn't want more music to screw it up. I used to have background music, and it was looked down upon, so I'd recommend against it.

So that's my advice. Welcome to the forums!
