Inserting WMV onto page

Hey

Does anyone know the html code that will let me embed a wmv onmy my page? Instead of have something where you click on it, windows media pops up. I want it so that the player is on the page if you know what i mean?

hey thanks for that code snippet;
i'm saving it in case i ever need to embedd some WMV. i've always known there must be a way to do it, but never took the time to look it up, so thanks.

Try converting it to flash (.swf).

The files are smaller (with no apparent loss of quality).

This code will embed your file in the page (just change the 'myfile.swf' to your file name).

99% of browsers can view this without having to download 3rd party viewers.

There are conversion progs on the net for you to download (some free)
you can do the same with sound files (mp3 / wav).
