Well I voted for Brazil, but Latin American teams rarely win in Europe.
England ? Well potentially they have a wonderful team, but they are perennial underachievers. Will be surprised to see them reach semi-finals.

if they can get to the next round they wil have a good change to get into the final

i think if marco van basten make a real group of holland (not every game a few new players picked) they can be strong and get true the group fase. but else i think it is to bad that we go the WK.

If England and Brazil win their groups the can't play in the final, they would meet in the semis.

I beleive the US Will shock at least their own bracket and beat Italy in a hard fought match. We are already hated in Europe and by winning this will make us even more hated if thats possible. Soccer is not an American Sport and despite that the talent level is surprising here.

I hope this is the time for Spain. I really think soccer has a historic debt with spanish supporters. We reach always quarter finals but we never can go forward.
Our manager, "El sabio de Hortaleza", best known as Luis Aragones will lead our team to victory in this edition. At least we were lucky with the draw, let's see what we have later in the knockout part of the tournament :S

I'm Brazilian. I hope we will win the 2006 World Cup. Our players have been showing great football in the european championships, so i think we can win our 6th title next year.
England has a good midfield, but that's not enough.

Apart from Brazil, the competition is quite open, so if Brazil somehow get knocked out relatively early, then things will be very interesting. But Brazil still have to be favourites.

If one of the European teams can contain the Brazilian attack (and this will happen at least once in the world cup) then Brazil will not win. Their defence is too weak. The most exciting side though for sure.

Brazil 'll win this World Cup.... but my fawourite national teams are Italy Ukraine and Poland (of course) it 'll be great when one of this teams win the World Cup. But it seems to be unreal... maybe Italy

Well I'd have three things to say:
1. in german you would say "Die Totsgruppe" for group of death
2. FIFA Rankings means shit really .... It just gives an indication about the recent performances of the team so that if you have team number 2 that plays against number 150 you'd be able to be all your money that the first one wll win. If you just look at them they are completely unlogical.
3. The group f death is by far the group where you got "Argentina, the Netherlands, Serbia and Montenegro, and Ivory Coast" because of the qualities of all teams. Italy's group reall doesn't compare although it's a completely passionating group.
France really did get an easy group ... hope they'll manage to qualify this time we've been pretty hungry since 1998

Dream final would be England and Brasil but i dont think that england will come to finals. they will lose in semi or quotar finals. Brasil hase definatly the best team and best individuals but who knows. I think Ronaldhinio will beat the shit out of everyone!!!
