Spam Assassin level.

Admin, if you haven´t already done that.
I would like to suggest the admins to make a special Spam Assassin level.

Why?

I can see that there are already some spammers showing up.. and by the rule of all spam: Spammers Grow In Their Numbers, or One Spammer drags his friends(like cockroaches for example).

And you must 'destroy' them as quickly as possible Twisted Evil

So you can make a special Spam Assassin users that will watch over the forum and delete/mod spam posts.

It´s like a mod level but lower.
Give them permission only to edit/delete posts.

So will the admins reply to this post?

I am pretty sure that you cannot allow users special permissions like that in phpBB without a mod, and I do not know of one. It is a great idea though.

I'm new here, but I understand the concept.

I'm seeing lots of posts that are very obviously copy/paste posts. See the UEdit thread for a recent example.

You guys are providing a great service and asking very little for it. It's a shame to see b00bs leaching points by pasting articles/posts that they didn't take the time to write themselves.

Are you saying you already have a phpBB hack to filter posts through Spam Assassin or something automated to determine spaminess???

I was confused at first about this also, Gonzo. They aren't referring to anything related to the server software "Spam Assassin." He's talking about giving real users the forum title "Spam Assassin" and the ability to delete posts.
