Multimedia keys/buttons.

How on linux would you install multimedia buttons (and remote if possible, (I also need help with a TV-USB drive (Internal - Analog) (External Digital) if possible) mainly botherd about buttons and remote for now, how I would install them and make them work for Mplayer and xmms.

I have just installed FC4 (Though now FC5 - beta is out)

witch distrib do you use??

with ubuntu , system->preferences-> keyboard shortcut and there you just push the key in front of the statut you want.
