What do you want to do with the server ?
longjack
Windows 2003 will most likely have more features but im sure windows 2000 server would be a lot cheaper but still have enough features for a general server.
Remember how much these windows server licences cost!

What kind of server are you building? I mean if you want rock hard stability and none of the licensing issues then build a Linux box -- Oh yeah and at a fraction of the cost.

Please, can you stop this ?
Your posts are mostly like this: it's good good
Windows 2000 is ok.. depends on what type of server you are talking about DC( domain controler) or file server ar any other .. 2003 is better as they have few bug fixed and its works better then 2000 and it has some added features like local security policy has been removed form DC and VPN / NAT are added in one setup .. and may others the security policy have many added features and the look and feel is more like XP .. I like to use 2003 then 2000 if given a choice
