Hello i was wondering how you find out what speed a ddr ram is
RAM Question
DDR speeds vay. from 100mhz to 4200mhz which is ddr2. I like a program called cpuid. It tells you everything about your computer's hardware. Just search for cpuid in yahoo or whereever and download the program. It's a really small program. You should be able to find out what ddr speed you have.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Use PC Doctor. It came pre-installed with my PC when I bought it. It gives you a comprehensive list and descriptions of all the software and hardware installed or attached to your computer (including RAM Speed!)
Search for it in google. You are bound to find it. Probably the newer version than mine.

i cant find them in google can you please give me the links to them?
the easy solution would be to look at the ram... it's most likely labled (possibly somewhat cryptically)
heres some links...
SiSoft Sandra - benchmarking and sys info (comprehensive)

CPUID - mostly CPU info, but also RAM speed.

Not hard at all to find on google... the first link when searching "CPUID" or "SiSoft Sandra"
