The United States played like s^it in the qualifying games but if they can get the much needed goals like they needed in 2002 they can win it all.

i think england have a great chance (but i am bias).
gerrard lampard and wonderboy rooney are simply sensational.
although argentina and brazil are looking real strong. ronaldinho is just awesome and brazil have a load of flair merchants. messi and raqemi are looking good for the argies too.
I think it'll be really close this year, however has their best players fully fit will be good contenders (holand will do well if robben is fully fit - that guy is awesome).

As the tournament proceeds they`re going to play better and better. In the final they`ll beat England with 3-0 
(Probably Rooney gets a red card). Well, Brazil are ranked #1, no surprises there. However I was surprised to learn that England are #2. I think it was Spain at #3 but I can't remember after that. BAsed on performance in the last world cup and world rankings over the last three years.
I am amazed that we, England, are seeded second. We may have a collection of some of the best players in the world, we definitely do, in fact, but we can never seem to translate that into a team that can perform consistently, even over 90 minutes, let alone throughout a world cup. Inevitably, we will bottle it, but I think we have a good chance of getting to the quarters again. The most amazing thing is that most football supporters in England genuinely believe we are the best in the world and expect us to win whenever we play.
Realistically I think we would lose more often than not to Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, and maybe France. If there are no major upsets, I think it will be a Spain vs Brazil final and Brazil will win.

Argetina looked not too good against Brazil last time they played. As far as Europe goes, I really hope England makes it. its been awhile.
All I ask for is a bit more scoring(remember italy '90), and awesome gameplay from the football stars we admire.

Of all the teams none is really outstanding and shows really better play or style apart from the dutch, the swedes, the brazilians and maybe the mexicans.

Brazil are deserved favourites. Germany may make the semi-finals and because they are the hosts they can use the crowd support. Italy and Spain will underachieve I think. Spain especially can't seem to put together a cohesive team. The Dutch can do well if they don't self destruct and van Basten is doing very well so far. England have a strong squad and have recently beaten Argentina so they should can the semi-finals or final but I have a feeling they'll get knocked out in the quarter final. Argentina look very good also, and I'd like to see Lionel Messi play as much as possible.
