It looks like Terragen was used ( the program that did the above renders ) - I guess you will have to Google for it if you want more info in the program.

I'm amazed, at first I thought that it was just some pictures you used. In the south of Mexico we have a part that looks like one of the drawings you made.
I have to say I wouldn't be able to repeat what you did. But as the one before me mentions...try something else, or is that more difficult?

Shawg. Once hte new year rolls around I will start working on some new artwork and stuff, including landscapes. I will probably use Bryce 5 the most, but I will give Terragen a whirl too. It looks pretty nifty.

Well... The program is simple to use.. The hard part is really customizing the landscape to exact specifications... But I'm still practicing...

i like the renders ; iwold like to set you loose with a full maya studio to try and rend other awsome stuff but don't have anything like that just laying arround so for now i just get to enjoy the butiful renders

The program I used is Terragen...
Its actually fairly easy with that program... It just takes some patience..

Terragen is a nice program. And it's not hard to use.
Nice, but try to make some land renders too. I already tried Terragen, but I sucked with it. Anyway, nice work there.
thats insanely awesome i dont think i could make something that great...u must have some patience that i lack lol keep up the great work cause u never know u could land a huge job at solme major corporartion making killer money for somethingthayt you love to do!!

This program looks sweet. I've been learning Blender (awesome free 3d modeler) I saw a blender compatible plug-in, I'll have to see what it does.
