I was trying to upload a .gif via URL and got that error. Are .gifs allowed or is there something wrong?

Theres something wron on line 247 of the page. .Gifs are allows (or I would atleast think....) But anyways, sometimes forums add in an extra line or to. Maybe its not CHMODDED right? (The file its trying to read). Anyways, www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com are some good uploaing avatar sites, you can just imput the URL for it to use. 
I checked the "Delete Box" on it and it says it worked but I don't see results...

Meantime, host your avatar on Imageshack and use the "Upload Avatar from a URL:" function. There's no need to check the delete button
