Does anyone know of a way to stream a movie without using too much bandwidth? I've heard of multicasting, unicasting, sdp but I'm not familiar with any of it. (No porn or anything like that.)
I would like to stream movies, under the Creative Commons license, from my site. This is not an issue legally but I don't want to have my bandwidth used up by a few users viewing my streams. I know just placing them on my site with links will allow them to download them but I heard streaming could possibly use less bandwidth. Even if I don't host them at frihost, I would like to know how to have them displayed in a window to view.
