Just like some of the others said, I wouldn't call him cute or ugly, I think he is cool looking 
then again it does depend on the purpose of the drawing, for example the grim reaper form one of the skateboarding brands (I think its "Blind" or something like that, its been a long time since I was into skateboards) is kind of cute, where as a grim reaper drawn for an adult cartoon with lots of blood and gore may be considered ugly or cool.
I think the black cloak he is usually depicted in is cool, I wouldn't mind having one

hell, i dont know if i would call grim reaper cute, but he sure is an interesting person ;D
Ugly, cute or sexy would be dependent on the artistic taste and ability of the person depicting him. In any case, I'd like to be the Grim Reapers fangirl. 
The Sims 2 version of the Reaper is simply awesome though, since he tends to hang around and watch TV after reaping someone if no one else is home and one of the Sims in the game appearant has a memory of "WooHooing" with him.
That's a pretty laidback and interesting Reaper, I'd say.
