Web Hosting in Languages other than English

Hai.

Hosting website in english is not a problem. But whereas it comes to other languages it will be little complecated. I know The Web Embedding Fonts Tool 'WEFT', lets Web authors create 'font objects' that are linked to their Web pages so that when an Internet Explorer user views the pages they'll see them displayed in the font style contained within the font object.

But it is limited to internet explorer only. We can't able to use it in browsers like opera or firefox.

Can anybody tell me any other tool or script allows to host in languages other than English?.

It is much better to use websites with unicode encoding without using any custom fonts. That way they will be visible in any modern web browser. For example http://hi.wikipedia.org/ uses unicode encoding. As does my blog http://bhashahindi.blogspot.com/. If you need to get a software which outputs in hindi try evaluation version of aksharmala at www.aksharmala.com

Hi,
I have Croatian pages and I am only changing Meta http-equiv. Now I can type all Croatian letters without any problem.

English:
Quote:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

Croatian:
Quote:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-2">

Maybe you can Gooogle out the same for your language. Very Happy

the problem will come in older browsers, not os. But this is the method which will give least headache. AFAIK.
