are they different?
does it count that i only watch 2hrs of tv a week if i spend four hours or more a day on the computer? is it different because i'm technically doing something actively here? i don't really think so, but what about you guys?
I'd say TV is worse. Using the computer (surfing/game playing) is much better per hour than watching TV.
My reasoning:
TV isn't interactive, your just watching something, flipping chanels every once and a while. Nothing special.
The computer on the other hand requires constant interaction (sort of) unless of course your watching a movie on your computer, in which case its the same as TV.
Down with TV! Up with computers!

TV is worst, with the PC we can do anything, we don΄t only look, we act...
Many times when I am wasting time on the computer, I'm doing something usefull. Something like Making a new program, or trying to get the enlightenment WM to work. That, however, is because I use linux.

Usually, yeah, but it depends on what you're doing with each.
Playing an hour of minesweeper, for instance, is probably worse for you overall than watching two hours of discovery channel. Although it does build minesweeper skills.......
playing minesweeper isn't wasting time: you might beat the high score!

ANyway, I said TV is worse. Computer is a) interactive b) can be used for educational and productive purposes and c) more fun
I think that TV and PC both are the same because i spend almost the same time watching TV and thwen using my PC . but i do both technical works during watching TV and Seeing PC...........
