Keyword Placement

Everywhere I look I see all sorts of references to high paying keywords.
Tell me, will these keywords work if placed in my metatags, or should they be placed in the content of a web page?

When you say keywords Ill take it you mean adsense keywords. This I can tell for sure, adsense DOESNOT use meta tags. Only visible text.

=)) this reminds me of the time i worked about a month solo to create a porn site Very Happy
And after i finished it i realised i had alot of problems:
1) no free hosting will allow it
2)No porn sites will pay in romania Smile

So i had to leave it...an entire month lost Sad

Hope my current site will be more productive Very Happy

You know, I would hardly call myself a SEO expert, but for everyone that says that meta-tags are useless, someone says that they are important.
I was just trying to find a way to get some good ads on my NFL Football fan site. Is there a way to get [high paying] ads that don't have anyting to do with the pages content to come up?

Thats why the meta tags got discredited coz its just too easy to stuff meta with useless info. Im very sure google doesnot use meta tags. But its a good practise to use them just to be sure. There are free meta tags generators so t will not take too much time.
