AOE 1 is great.
it runs fine on a 100Mhz machine!
It's just missing one feature from the later versions: the ability to put a gate in a wall. (just add that and AOE 1 would be the best)

LOLOLOLOL, mann, we live in the 21st century. LOl, ya play Aoe2 or 3. Not 1, its graphics are disgusting, and they fight like chickens in that game. no offence,lol 
Ya i never really liked aoe1 the graphics were real bad. I played aoe2 alot on zone and when i get my new computer I will try out age3 which looks amazing from the screenshots and videos I have seen.

The quality of a game is all in the gameplay. I have some great old DOS games, like Liero.
