Saturday 19 November 2005 in Poznan, Poland, the Equality March to display tolerance, equal rights, women's rights and against discrimination against people of other sexual orientations:

from indymedia:
Quote:
"ZOMO! Gestapo!" cried the participants of the Equality March in response to the brutal intervention of the police. First of all, youths from the Młodzież Wszechpolska (extreme right youth organisation associated with political party LPR) and neofascists threw eggs against the protestors, and then the police kicking and twisting arms detained the demonstrators sitting on the ground. 68 people were detained.

You said it was march of women rights? I'm not sure about this thing... It was march of people who are for gays and lesbians legalize in poland, women rights have nothing to the point.
I personally am againts them, I wouldn't like if my teacher was gay, or if I'd had children, and they were be thought by a homosexualist in their first years of education in primary school... or even situation like this:

6 years old boy: hey monica, what's your father name?
6 years old girl: Ann.

... and about that march... everyone say it was peacefull, in plans only
I saw shots, police stayed in place not doing anything, and your "peacefull" people started insulting and atacking them...

I said: "tolerance, equal rights, women's rights and against discrimination against people of other sexual orientations"

most people who shout loudly about homosexuality either have problems with their psychosexual orientation or don't know what homosexuality (or bisexuality) is. i'm pure hetero but I know many people with different orientation. They are homo, bi: my ex-girlfiried, mother of my child is bisexual, and I'm amazingly calm about my 4.5 year old daughter, who lives with her. If she is heterosexual, like 95% of all people, it's ok. If she is homo or bi, like other 5% - it's ok too. Nobody can choose, nature does. Homosexuality is not a plague, there's no homo virus.

But there's an intolerance and stupidity virus, very dangerous.
