Do anyone of you practice judo?
I do, and I think it is a very good sport.
You train up your balance very good and get also very good control over your body.
I really like judo very much
Currently I'm having orange belt (4th kyu) in judo, but are soon going to get the green one (3rd kyu).
well.. i don't practice Judo.. but i know a litlle bit abput it.. You know about Arik Zeevi?
He took first place on Europen Championsheap
President Putin is a major supporter of judo...
Me too.
judo is insane. i have a friend that does it and hes gotton concusions and broken bones. i tried it, its hard to really get could at it.
You shouldnt be getting concussions and broken bones in judo. Judo is gentle. The name judo is japanese for "the gentle way". All it is is throws, and locks, so if you've a bad fall from a throw you still shouldn't be that bad.

I agree totally!!! If you want a more aggressive throwing sport try Chi Na
"- Chin Na -
Capture skills ( Chin Na ) are a kind of close combat skills used to subdue the enemy with skillful movements and ingenious exertion of strength. The basic principle in capturing the enemy is to seize, with either or both hands, a certain joint in the enemy,s limbs in order to have total control not only of a part of his body but also of his entire body, before you finally tie him up. Sucessful capture depends on daily and prolonged practice on the part of the combatant because, as the Kung Fu manual has it, "methods may be acquired from without, but ingenuity is achieved from within.". Only through repeated practice can the combatant make a correct judgement of the situation, seize the best opportunity and reach the acme of perfection in an actual combat."

Well, judo is not only throws and locks. That is just the "competition" part of judo. There is much more than that in the old "katas" (patterns of techniques), like hits and kicks and weird samurai "things".
There is so much more in judo, but that mostly is not allowed in fight competitions because some of the techniques can be dangerous. There is also some kata competitons, not only fight competitions...
The late king Hussein ( king of Jordan ) was also a major supporter of judo...
His arm was broken twice through the hard trainings he was involved in
I don't practice Judo, but my four year old son has been going to Judo classes for about a year now. I think it's a good sport and great for children as it tends to calm them down a little bit.
Your four year old son?
Isn't four years a little too low age to practice judo?
Well, maybe not? Maybe it is good to start early
I don't know
I'm after all impressed. I don't know about anyone else that has started practicing judo that early.
i know judo i played judo three years.
Foe example: ogoshi,ippon seunage,tai otoshi...
