A new gonzo twist on the marketplace
By accepting my FH$ and 30gigs.com invite you must renounce your gmail account. This offer only open to gmail users. Instructions:
- post your gmail address
- I'll email you a phrase that you'll need to post to this thread
- post that phrase
- this confirms you control the address
- then DELETE your gmail account from the account settings page
- when the test messages I send your account bounce with the CORRECT server code I'll PM you the 30gigs.com invite
- once you activate your 30gigs.com I will give you 1 FH$ after you also PM me
- limit 1 FH$ per frihost account
Why? continued use of gmail by anyone erodes MY constitutional protections.
This is a solemn pact. If you have any honor you will not use gmail for commication EVER again. Liars need not apply.
Whats the point of this and what have you got against gmail? 
Do you expect people to do all that for 1$fri as well? i doubt it but ... isn't this anti competitive, and while, i'm aware that this isn't very marketplacey, could you actually give me one use, the normal person will actually gain from having 30gb for their email address, i'm a very active emailer, and i still only use 7%
If you have other better online mail than 30Gigs, I might bite this one. I see no other service to replace Gmail as of the moment. If you have a better alternative, tell me.

Whats the *^&$en point of this?
There is a good chance that 30gigs is going to go under, like most email services that try to compete with titans like Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL. Also, I don't need and Fri$ from you, or anyone (unless I was selling something), so why would I want your 1 Fri$? And as mathiaus stated, what do you have against Gmail?
I have read in other topics that Gonzo is not happy with Gmail because it scans your private datas in your inbox. That's gonzo's opinion and he's entitled to have the right to hate Gmail. As we are also entitled to love Gmail too! 
I wouldn't want that 1 Frih$ from you Gonzo. Yet, if you give a nice alternative to Gmail and have superb features against it, I would even give you a higher sum of Frih$. 30 Gigs won't do it. It's too incompetitive against other e-mail giants. Tell me of a better alternative and we have a deal.
p.s.
I can raise the bar from 10 to 15 Frih$. Now, satisfy me with a better e-mail! Hotmail, Yahoo and other already popular online e-mail tycoons cannot be included! 30gigs does the same thing... they scan through incoming e-mail for viruses then add it to the log, tuda the log now has your e-mails, get a paid e-mail account with your isp for personal matters.
Not even for a 1000 FRIH$s.
A email provider who cannot even code a proper invite system. I really doubt their credentials

A blog, msx exposed, created to document any shady dealings by a game "cheat" service called MSX, (MSX sells memberships and access to cheat software for Battlefield 2 Online). The blog is raising an alarm over the "30 free gigs" webmail service, 30gigs.com, an extremely poor service unfortunately mentioned here (and slashdot) when launched. The service 30gigs.com is owned and run by one Daniel Saltman, who also distributes the cheat software already under fire for containing possible trojans. The risk of continuing to use 30gigs.com to receive or send confidential email should be obvious.

Edit: I checked the links. Yes, I believe now that it is pretty much a scam. You can't even exceed a 500 Mb storage. A large hoax.
30gigs now out of the picture. Gonzo, if you have a better alternative to Gmail, tell me.
Gmail is the best email service i have ever used why would i want to delete my email adress that all my contacts know and then take the chance with the new servie that could be slow, un reliabe and just suck genraly! (im not sayin that it does just that it could for all i know) and all this for one Fri$

and if you post you love gmail but hate 30gigs you also get frihs and at least 1 so if you want frih's and want to do so much for 1 frih I would recomend:"post!"

You could also just use your Frihost email account, with POP3 I heard that it was a scam too, and who would want to give up Gmail? I doubt many would... maybe an account or 2 that you make up using your invites, but definately not your main account...
IF however, you were offering a Gmail account for a hotmail one... I'd take it... Another of my anti 30gigs.com posts.

I personally love RC Mail & use it for my frihost mail accounts but if u r running a complete mail site on it, then better stay away from it 30gigs.com only claim to fame is that it has 30 gigs, but it has less than 1 gig in storage, and once you exceed your quota, you can't even delete emails to free up space! This is a total hoax. If you want Gmail, I can give you one.
In fact, this is probobly just a hoax to get people to give out their email addresses so he can spam them.

Hey cool, a reason for me not to open mail from anyone with a 30gigs address, even though gmail is awesome and kills all .exe files sent through them oh yeah, can't infect this Have you noticed that the guy who started this thread hasn't posted in it again? Makes you wonder...
this is now pointless everyone is just repeating the same stuff its getting spamed why is it still open?

oh hand i agree that 30gig wont last n its just a scam. Google just buy everything out and then give it away from free lol ... it sooo cool. :p Nature of this deal is very controversial.
Plus I've seen many negative reports about the 30gigs recently so not something i'll recommend to members.
