As far as the tax issue goes, it seems to me that the republicans are the ones more into taxing us... Maybe I only see it when the republicans do it and miss the others.

Republicans tend to roll back taxes for the upper class. Democrats tend to raise the taxes on the upper class. Hence the joke of April 15.
