URL Redirection Error?

lockwolf
I keep getting the following error message when I try and access my website by either lockwolf.be or lockwolf.frihost.net

Any help?

Receiving it too Wink.

Anyway, how did you redirect it (cpanel or custom .htaccess file?) and what is it suppose to redirect to?

Also, copy and paste your .htaccess file here (found in public_html)
lockwolf
Lockwolf.be is parked and lockwolf.frihost.net is a redirect to lockwolf.be

Here is my .htaccess file
Code:
# -FrontPage-
IndexIgnore .htaccess */.??* *~ *# */HEADER* */README* */_vti*
<Limit GET POST>
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from all
</Limit>
<Limit PUT DELETE>
order deny,allow
deny from all
</Limit>
AuthName www.lockwolf.frihost.net
AuthUserFile /home/lockwolf/public_html/_vti_pvt/service.pwd
AuthGroupFile /home/lockwolf/public_html/_vti_pvt/service.grp

RedirectMatch permanent ^/$ http://lockwolf.be

I never really have messed with this but I think I am kinda starting to see where I skrewed up

This is what you did to it.

Whenever someone goes to lockwolf.be/lockwolf.frihost.net he will redirected back to lockwolf.be then redirected again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again then again and it goes on forever

(yes, trolling, someone give me a troll tag Wink).

So remove that

Code:
RedirectMatch permanent ^/$ http://lockwolf.be

and you won't have that error anymore. Why force the user to use lockwolf.be?

.htaccess files execute automatically whenever they connect to the server (and your account), it doesn't go based on domain/whatever else.

Right then, this is what I use to redirect to my primary domain. I stick this right at the top of the page
Code:
<?php
$page = "http://siriusblacks.com" . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
if ($_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] != "siriusblacks.com") {
header("HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently");
header("Location: $page");
exit;
}
?>

obviously just change the siriusblacks.com part Wink

You can also use this either with this or to replace. It doesnt redirect but makes sure all links begin with the domain you want
Code:
<base href="http://siriusblacks.com" />

again change the domain and put just before your </head tag>
