Html codes are not cool or uncool; html codes are functional. If you need some functionality on your web page, you need to use html coding.
There is no sense in entering some html codes into your page, just for the fun of having those codes. Each code will result in some action, and for each action that you need on your page, you will have to use the correct html coding.
Furthermore: if you want a web site that will allow users to add comments and stuff, you will have to use a web site with a database. The web site needs to be coded in PHP or ASP, and will have to interact with the database (for instance mySQL),
well i dont know your site but maybe its usefull to install a blod system, most of them are fere an easy to use and suppert the functions you wanted like polls or comment areas
yup, there's so many of script like that, or you might use the guestbook script (i have one) or maybe a shout box ?
