But i do think you already now about it, so why dont you have installed this?

I like the idea, however, I believe that the reason it's not installed yet, if it will, is that people create backups, cron jobs, and these generate a lot of CPU usage. We will have to wait and see what Bondings has to say. Wink

Gzip normally generates a lot of cpu-usage. This might slow down the server more than it gains in speed.
