qwikylynx.com & winfixer.com spyware

hi guys,

i have encountered a annoying piece of spyware that has somewhat taken over my system in the past two days.

whenever i open a new browser window, two extra windows open and go to qwikylynx.com and winfixer.com respectively.

i am running AVG free edition, spybots search & destroy and lavasoft ad-aware personal (all with the latest updates). i run the above apps and it finds errors, i remove them, they come back...

anyone have any suggestions?

run spybot in safemode then STOP USING IE

i don't think that is the wisest option mate, IE is the most used browser there is... i need to use it!

i will try using it again, but have had 'issues' with it in the past...
