require_once vs include_once

sailor69
What is the difference in PHP in "require_once" vs. "include_once"? Also "require" vs. "include". I am currently using include_once to define my framework, just a header and footer.

If the file can't be included for whatever reason include_once will simply generate a warning and continue executing the code while require_once will stop with an error.

I'll try it. Thanks.

Edit: It worked on localhost.
