Hi I was wondering how to open source my software? I made a software from Python, Tkinter, Pypdf, and SQLite3 modules. Do I need to put their copyright in my software or just using GPL version 3 was enough. Do I need to add them in the credit section of the software? And is using GPL version 3 need some sort of recognition on the GNU to be able to use it?
Why not search the Websites of those software sources, and ask them what they prefer. You may only need to write to one, as more than likely all of them would have the same preference for being acknowledged.
this question is not so much about deployment but about licensing.
like dean said, check with the developers of that software.
Though I'm not sure if these can be skipped but a few modules you mentioned are standard python modules.
@Peterssidan Thank you for the information.
