Why are we not allowed to put in affiliate links in our sig? Doesnot seem reasonable to me.

They are strictly not allowed on Frihost for several reasons, which I won't mention, but are quite obvious if you think a few seconds/minutes about it.
This forum isn't meant for these kind of things. Use your own website to promote them.
And this is the hosting support forum. Please only use this for hosting support.
