An update of the 1932 film, Scarface (1983) follows gangster Tony Montana and his close friend Manny Ray from their trip on the Cuban Boat Lift for refugees to their arrival in Miami. After killing a powerful Cuban figure, Montana and company gain the ability to leave their refugee camps and roam around the U.S. After unsuccessfully trying to make it legitamately in the country, Montana and Ray resort to selling cocaine to dealers around the world. Tony's rise is quick, but as he becomes more powerful, his enemies and his own paranoia begin to plague his empire.

Ya i agree with you , Scarface is a pretty sick movie.

If you haven`t seen this movie you`ve really missed one of the best movies ever.
On IMDB (Internet Movie Database) it is placed as second best movie, below The Godfather. But I think The Shawshank Redemption should have been on place one.

mmm, no, i disagree, i mean scarface is a good movie, but it's not the best...i'd have to say, lola rennt. it's a german film, and the movie has multiple endings, it's kind of like going through the dvd menu and watching all the different endings there could be, but instead, it goes through the movie in different scenarios, it's kind of hard to explain but if you've seen it then you'd understand, kind of like in elephant. it took you back in time over and over again to see different view points.
Yeah, I have to agree with you, man. The Shawshank Redemption is indeed one of the best films of all time, not to take anything away from Scarface. It had it all, the twist, the intrigue, the three-dimensional characters, and even went as far as to complete the story at the very end, with no loose ends. What a great film!

yer they all great movies, but my favorite film of all time is the fifth element it has everything u ever need in a film its a love,fiction,sci-fi,action,comedy and its cool i have it on dvd and even though its an old film its been my fave since it came out at the pictures i saw it 5 times at the pics then i taped it off sky an then have it on dvd i must have seen it over 400 times but everytime i watch it i still laugh my head off at some of the stuff from it i jus think its an excellent film
another great film is ff advent children has any1 seen that yet if not you must its awesome and its uber awesome if ur a fan of ff7 cloud,sephiroth and the entire cast of 7 plus more beatin the hell out of each other in breathtaking cgi , u all know what im talkin about
but one person who was a complete n00b in the game is actually i think the best person in the film an thats RENO omg he looks so cool an even though he still gets his ass kicked in every fight jus like the game he is still really cool YO!

Scarface is in my TOP 10 all time favorita movies, I tweek out when I watch it, it makes me wanna just snort mad blow and shoot people.

I will say The matrix . Reason is that it presents the fantastic idea of merging virtual reality, computer simulation and artificial intelligence to create a different world. Also many of the camera arts were introduced for the first time in this movie like bullet motion.

I think that Leone's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly or Once Upon A Time On The West should be on the first place.
My choice is "Life is Beautiful". Its original name is "La Vita E Bella". It is also in top 100 movie lists. It has won 3 academy awards including the best actor (Roberto Benigni).
For me, all three of the Lord Of The Ring movie.
