Be very carefull of the retailers at pricewatch. You may find a good price there just be sure and check their standing at http://resellerratings.com/ so that you don't get ripped off.

www.newegg.com has great prices and even better customer service if you don't want to have to deal with checking up with each company to see if they are legit or not. Newegg is where I go for anything I need for my computer. Here is 512MB of ddr pc 3200 ram for under 40 shipped http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820223009

Here is a nice video card for 98 plus 5 shipping http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102510

Or if you don't mind refurbished here is a 9800pro for less money http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102477R

Personally I would go for the 9800pro but it is refurbished so you may have to send it in for an exchange if it is bad.

Yep you can pick up a 9800pro pretty cheap now, best bang for your buck as they say.

all of you should check out http://www.fatwallet.com/c/18/. www.fatwallet is an online store, but ignore it, i never buy stuff from them. What is the great thing is ther hot deals forums where members post good deals theyve found. You can find all sorts of good things, hard drives, computers, tvs, anything.

You might consider what application type you're going to be using it on. For example, a gaming computer would benefit with one kind of card, where a 3d rendering engine (parasolid data for example) would require a different kind of card. It's been my experience that an ATI card will not play well with some CAD/CAM or other 3d rendering apps, but might be suitable for a 'gaming' machine.
