As we know, FIFA was involved in corruption scandals and several offices have been arrested. It has be revealed that the corruption exist for a while.
Here is the question:
How to prevent Corruption in international organization especially for ones are NOT under the supervision ofany country just as FIFA?
Answer: there is no way.
Yesterday evening on a regional TV programme a journalist asked by-passers the following question: In order to get the Olympic Games, how much do you think the Hamburg regional government should pay to the International Olympic Committee in bribes?
People answered that question, in all seriousness, coming up with amouns of 1 up to 30 Mio. EUR.
How on earth can you prevent corruption like that?
Agreed Kaysch. All of those sports organizations are the same. When they chose to tackle FIFA, no doubt because of politics (someone stabbing someone else in the back, or someone not getting what they demanded as their due), can only imagine how many of those other sports organizations must be shaking in their boots.
I don't see a practical way either. Maybe starting by investigating and punishing the crimes individually. But this doesn't save the organisation as a whole from the wrongdoing.
