I don't know if any of you read Dvoraks columns on technology, but he tends to have some pretty interesting views. Heres one of his columns on music downloading and what the music industry thinks about it- http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1862166,00.asp

Do you pay to download music? Why or why not?
What are your thoughts on the music industry and technology?

just a little topic to think about Very Happy

I don't download music - pay or otherwise. I'm just not into it, and would rather just go to the store and buy a CD.

I'm an old timer, and I gotta tell you - CDs are the last go around for me. I started my collection way back when you could get 8-track tapes, and I spent a fortune on them. Then I spent a fortune on Albums and Cassettes (and a few singles). Now, I've spent a fortune on CDs - and many times I spent many on the same 'albums', just a different format. And I'm not 'upgrading' anymore.
