Using your order of operations:
B rackets
I ndices
D ivision
M ultiplication
A ddition
S ubtraction

Do all the powers first so it becomes:
81 / 3 - 25 - 4 * 5

Then the division and multiplication:
27 - 25 - 20

Then simple subtraction to get your answer, which is C) -18

Easy!

Answer:

Code:

>>> 9^2 / 3 -5^2 - 2^2 * 5
>>> 81 / 3 - 25 - 4 * 5
>>> 27 - 25 - 4 * 5
>>> 27 - 25 - 20
>>> 2 - 20
>>> -18
Insanity
Also, if you're just looking for the answer, you can easily plug that into Wolfram Alpha and it will calculate it for you. Not great if you're looking to learn how to do it, but if you want to check your answers, that's a great tool because it can do these calculations and it will also do so according to the order of operations as someone said here earlier. Best of luck with this problem!
