Hahaha. I like those doomsday prophecies because they never come true. I wonder what it must be like to wake up the next morning just to find out that everything is just like before.

On a more serious note. I wonder what the current status is on programmes to avoid a collision between earth and an asteroid, as discussed in this old thread.
