I was wondering what is a really good and free tool to make rpgs. I tried RPG Toolkit, but I dont like that very much. Is there another program that I can use to make rpgs like final fantasy 6?

Checkout sourceforge. There are a ton of these types fo things there. Everything from webbased to C++ and everything in between.

RPG Maker 2000 maker is a pretty good program for making RPG games. However there is another program called Game Maker. It can make any kind of games and has alot more abilities and less limiations that RPG Maker. You can make any type of game and it has its own built in programming language for more complex games. WoW! I never knew there were game creating tools. I always though you had to like do hardcore scripting 
I am checking this stuff out. I also never new they had this kind of stuff out there that made it simple to develope games of your own. I have a buddy that will be really happy that I found this on here.
