It is entirely possible for you to have a .co.uk address. I have 2 .be addresses and I live in Canada.

dan751, some ccTLD's have specific requirements like living in that country. This is not the case for .be domains.
i think only the .us domains require you to be us citizens no? others are fine i think.
It is ok to register .co.uk from anywhere in the world.

I believe the canadian tld, .ca, also requires you to be a canadian citizen.
