Holy crap, my wedding is only 2 weeks away

coolclay
Ok so it's officially freakout time my wedding is only 2 weeks away and I feel completely unprepared. Anyone have any ideas to not freak myself out!!!
zimmer
should we also freak out? Very Happy

Come on dude do your best. Call a wedding Planner so that no hassle.

Wedding is expensive event so even if you are not prepared for your self if you got MONEY no worries money can do your perfect wedding on time with no worries.

Usually, wedding planner do all the things for you.
Da Rossa
First of all, congratulations man!! Errr, are you a man? Because women do freak a lot more easier than men when it comes to weddings...

Well, by now you should have all planned. Only the last loose ends should be patched up. Don't you forget that this is supposed to be the happiest day in your life, so it should flow nicely. Your family and friends will help you in this. Can't be a mystery, can it?

Congratulations!
If there are so many things and so little times, sort them by priority,
so you can do the most important ones first, and the less important last.
If you really run out of time, at least the rest things are not that important,
so you could ask favors from friends or hire some people to do these things.

Hope it goes well.

Schedule
Schedule

Schedule.

Thats all.
And dont forget the honeymoon.
grofet
Nothing to woory about. Just let it flow like the wind blow.
Yes, schedule is very important to make sure everything is done like what you want.
Ask other people help if you can't do it yourself such as your family, and your friends.
You can't do everything yourself, so you need other people help.
Congratulation for you...
coolclay
Thanks for the support guys, down to 7 days!!

It's going to be amazing and probably the only time in my life (not including death) when all of the people that are important to me are all in the same place at the same time! Things are starting to finally come together.

Luckily my wife to be is an amazing scheduler and very detail oriented (the opposite of me). We make a really great pair!

I wish all my frihost friends could be there too!

Weddings don't have to be expensive. If I ever get married, mine certainly won't be. I've been to super expensive weddings where expensive steak was served, expensive flowers were everywhere, fancy food was served on fancy dinnerware, etc. But you know what? That's not what a marriage is about! And nobody remembers that stuff (except for the bride, perhaps). I've never thought back to a wedding and thought "Wow! Those flowers were so well coordinated and that steak was super tender."

I've been to backyard weddings where the wedding party simply wore nice clothes that they'd wear to work anyways instead of buying super fancy clothes. And for the food, a simple hot dog and hamburger BBQ with water and sodas was sufficient. I don't look down and remember those weddings for the lack of fanciness. I remember the marriage.

Spending $25,000+ on a wedding seems incredibly wasteful when I've seen $500 basic weddings.

freaking out? wait until your wife in the delivery room.
kakurine
Just enjoy things day by day and try not to over stress yourself. A few weeks before I got married. I was so worried that it won't be perfect that I lost a few pounds. So instead of having my gown fit me perfectly it was like I borrowed it from someone bigger than me.
coolclay
Thanks for all the support. It was an amazing experience. Sitting next to my wife now is awesome!

Why didnt You visit the wedding party?
playfungames
Well, the original poster must have already gotten married by this time now. I wish the newly wed couple best of luck.

I never see myself getting married, but may be one day I will grow to accept someone as my life partner. Till now, I just enjoy being a bachelor or doing what I like when I like.
Blaster
Still waiting on them pictures cool...

Better than a weekend in front of the TV as Honeymoon.

Enjoy it
singles cannot understand this.
coolclay
You guys are just so funny...... I guess I just don't check the relationship forum super often!

You want pictures....I'll give you pictures how does 306 of them sound?
https://jenclay.shutterfly.com/

And ....(drum roll please) I made a little video compilation from our honeymoon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWtl6eJKfbg

It took a little while to put together but thanks to all the snow storms I had some spare time!

Anyway it was actually a long honeymoon 3 weeks or so, but we are back now. It was an amazing experience. It's hard to say which was better the wedding or the honeymoon!
Blaster
Looking good Clay! Congrats again and it looked like you had a lot of fun on your honeymoon.

Congrats man!

Both of you looks so great. And thanks for sharing your photos and little adventure on the video. That climb looks for pro hikers..

Cheers!
coolclay
Loveandormoney- Blaster doesn't waste his life, he was just messing with me. It's kind of like a joke. So you don't need to angry at him.

But yes, gaining a wife does mean you won't be bored any more that's for damn sure!

Thanks Blaster, it was really an amazingly fun wedding and trip, glad I could share it with my Frihost friends (and sorry it took so long, I've been busy shoveling 7 feet of snow!).

Thanks Zacky, the peak we climbed was covered by a tea trees, it was a tea plantation as was the surrounding mountainsides.

The most amazing thing about that area was watching elderly women in cheap plastic flip-flops climbing through hillsides picking tea leaf by leaf and filling these giant sacks they carried on their heads. All the while it poured rain and these ladies still carried their giant sacks up and down the hills!

I rarely visit the relationship sub-forum, so saw this thread for the first time today. Wow! What a spectacular wedding. And a beautiful bride. And a very special day. Thanks for sharing this with us. Cool

The video is amazing. Rarely seen any one getting as close to all the underwater fish and creatures as you have, guess you must have a special relationship with Mornay eels, stingrays and octopi. The detail and closeups were pretty awesome. Great show! Sad to see the erosion of the corals. Do you think that has to do with the tsunami of a few years ago?

Where or how can I see the video?

Because here it is not allowed to use Youtube because of the music in the video.

Regards
Blaster
Shoveling 7 feet of snow? Sounds like you need either a plow, a snow blower, or a snow machine... I'd go with the last one. A lot more fun than actually working
coolclay
Loveandormoney,

What country are you in may I ask? You can probably watch it through a proxy like here http://www.proxy-youtube.net/browse.php?u=pCkJdktlK30oXhcxtVnJaYP98K9EOPiTmNqZvD0pzx47YjnCgEj6&b=7

Thanks Deanhills,
Some was just luck (like the octopus) but for the most part the fish just don't care, I think being part of a coral reef and a school of hundreds or thousands of other fish makes it a pretty safe place. If there is a predator or source of fear it spreads pretty quick among them and is really cool to watch as thousands of creatures all twitch and freak out at the same exact second!

Some of the damage may be from the tsunami, a lot of it however is from bleaching which happens when the mutualistic algae inside the corals are expelled because the water is too warm. We also saw some reefs covered in algae (a sign of too many nutrients (typically from wastewater or fertilizer)).

Overall as reefs go I'd say the majority were very healthy.

Thank You for Your friendly help.
Now I can see the video. Thank You.
I hope You enjoyed the big bathroom in Asia.
Frank_22
Congrats friend!! I think you had great fun there on your Honeymoon. I was also looking for best honeymoon spot and my event coordinator suggested me to visit Las Vegas. So I am very confused on this and want to know some great suggestions.
loveandormoney
Why do You want to go to Las Vegas?
Blaster
Vegas is an all around good city. Casinos, shows, nice weather. The city never sleeps and there is always something entertaining going on. I would love to vist Vegas at some point. Hopefully in the next few years.
playfungames
This post is so old and is still active (sort of). I think the bride and the groom already have children of their own.
coolclay
Not that old, only like 6 months or so. We certainly haven't had kids yet (at least a couple years away).
Da Rossa
Clay, congratulations. I hope you and your wife are very happy.
coolclay
Thanks Da Rossa, things have been fun so far, but with any relationship there is sure to be struggles and strife!
