Heh, i need help with domain things. A few things.

1. I need a FREE (im cheap) domain, that doesnt require you to have a certain number of visiters a month. the domain name must also last for a while. not like a year.

2. I need help on setting it up STEP BY STEP. everything i read i get confused about parking and everything, so i would like if you told me what to click on and what not. Very Happy

I know a way to get a top level domain without paying PM me if you want th elink its a referral link and oyu cannot post it on the forums. For how to set up the domains there are alot of tutorials on the forums explaining how to set up your domain after you get one.

i don't think you'll find a site that gives you top level domains for free.
but you can try sites like www.dyndns.com so you can register your "subdomain" for free.

no...top level domains are in the form www.mysite.twolettersrepresentingeitheracountrycodeoracom/net/org/info.
At afraid.org you can only get subdomains...probably the only top level domain which is free but only for a year is .be as in www.mysite.be (that`s top level Smile

) . If you don`t like it you can just go buy a domain...it is very cheap

yeah but for people like me with no credit card or paypal account and no way of getting one....lol.

You don`t necessarily need a credit card or paypal....you can go to a firm dealing with this kind of stuff and pay them upfront or in a bank account....and common...12$year ? how cheap can you be? Smile

They will get you free .be domains.
Please be careful if you are using these domains for long periods.Because they last only for a year and after that you have to renew the domain by paying the registrars.

Or... get a domain at www.GeekDomain.net . And yes it includes .com , .net etc. I've done it myself and I now have a free domain. A .net took me 80 posts and a cookie. Very Happy
