I'm a big Opera fan, but my work required me to use Firefox. Now that I've left, I want to transfer my bookmarks and passwords back over to Opera. Is there an easy way to do that?
Porting Firefox to Opera
Just install Opera and it will ask you to import FF/IE bookmarks/favourites
If you've already installed Opera and want to just transfer stuff, in Firefox go under Bookmarks, Manage Bookmarks... ; you will find File, Import... and Export...
Export your bookmarks to an HTML that you can open in any browser and import into most.
As for passwords, you can look through your list under Tools, Preferences..., Passwords, View Saved Passwords. But I don't know of any easy way to import/export these, sorry.
