webmail access

thnn
I know that in cpanel if you go to http://www.domain.com/webmail/ it allows any user with an email account to login to their email over the net.

However I am wondering if the same function is avaliable on DirectAdmin without having to login to DirectAdmin first.
misterdimiz

Yeah, you should either go to yourwebsite/webmail/ or yourwebsite/squirrilmail/ depending on which program you want to use.

I understand that cp.frih.net will allow DirectAdmin to be used behind a firewall.

Are you able to access webmail through a firewall like this?

I didn't use it yet, but the webmail doesn't seem to be redirected to a different port. I think - but am not sure of it - that it's on port 80.

I'm pretty sure it's port 80 because it works through the university proxy here, which blocks everything else (annoyingly).
