Swift, Object C, Cocoa?

zacky
Hi there Guys,

I am a web developer for many years now. I engage with different demands and recently it seems most of my Clients wants a native iOS app instead of mobile UI for desktop site.

However I am really new to this things and just bought new macbook pro just to get started. I heard this Swift, Object C and Cocoa. But can somebody explain how this things related?

Or am I in wrong direction of learning?

By the way, the only background I have that I think related to this is a Flash games.
But others are just Design patterns on different language, OOP and functional programming in general.

Thanks in advance!
Marcuzzo
in iOS you won't get far with Flash, I'll tell you that Very Happy

I have no experience with IOS but what I heard is that all apps are written in Objective C.

Cocoa is an object oriented API for Apple: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocoa_(API)

you basically need C skills Wink

Thanks Marcuzzo for the response.

Yeah since I posted this, I learned the path I need to drive for becoming iOS dev.

So far this learning is exciting and as I embrace the language, the more fun it brings.
