I hardly ever use them - they're quite annoying anyway.yeah . . . i disabled them.

I like them... I use them a lot...
But, I also have to say that those available is quite enough for my personal expression... 
I can only see one missing : a pouting smiley. I just wanted to have one just now instead of the ... never mind 
what about ":<." you can make lots of smilies in regular text!
I have to admit that I didn't know that ":<." meant "Pouting"...
I think that what I'm missing is just a smiley dictionnary !!!
majority of users here dont seem to use smleys that frequently. i myself use it rarely , only because they are available, and not cause i have to use them. my suggestion would be not to add anymore, and to leave them as it is. at least those who use them can continue doing so
If you ask me the smilies here ARE more lively then most others......
