I heard Eminem's latest song -' When I'm Gone'. I've heard it. Actually I'm listenin to it rite now as I'm writing this. I guess the song's the final nail on Eminem's coffin. Yep looks like it curtains fall on Eminem for good. The song is Marshall Mather's justification for having buried his alternate persona Eminem. Its kinda sad he's leaving. Will miss him badly....

I don't buy this whole "oh, I am retiring" thing. It is an age-old trick that artists play on their fans. It creates more interest in them as well as increased sales. I don't think he will be quite as bad as Jay-Z, but he will definately stick around.
I think it's a great song - deep and descriptive lyrics.
My interpretation is that he is just killing off his slim shady persona - maybe making his peace.
It almost sounds suicidal.
I think he has done a lot to restore his cred after his encore album.
