Hello, all. I'm Steve and I live in the Dorchester area of Boston, MA. I've been using a free account at 5gigs.com for about 5 months and it's down more often than it's up, so I'm making the switch here.
I have a small php application that I run on a webserver where I keep all my bookmarks for websites that I want to keep track of. I can sort them by the date I added them, name of site, etc. and can add as long a description as I want. I add categories and search terms for each. Then I always have access to them where ever I am. (As long as the hosting is up.)
I've been keeping my mysql database on a separate site: freesql.org. That's slow making a trip over there for data, so it will be nice to have it on one server.
I play the piano (classical) for fun and do quite a bit of hiking.
