Saving bandwidth when hosting phpbb forums...
edit the template
and del the unuseful files

1. You don't delete any files in the phpBB Package 
2. Get a less image template, subSilver is kinda populated with images.
3. phpBB uses very little bandwidth unless you have a forum like this.

Yeah...if you can find a low-fi theme.... it might help you out. Also, if you make your members link their avatars instead of hosting them, that would help you out.
